Welcome to the site of the Lao PDR MoFA International Law Project.
This project is supported by Finland (55%) the EU (30%) and the UNDP (15%).

The aim of the project is to assist the Department of Treaties and Law (DTL) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and to promote the enhancement of international law in the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

This site provides inter alia links to:

1. Project activities, including the mission statement, the pre-2005 accomplishments, the 2006 overview, the 2007 planning as well as an overview of the first 6 months of 2007;
2. Important sites where detailed aspects of international law can be found; and
3. Links to the sites of the three main donors to this Project, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the EC Delegation in Vientiane and UNDP Lao PDR.
